Like quicksilver, excitement thrummed through her veins. Her breath rushed from her lungs. She would not deny him. In doing so, she would deny herself. She closed her eyes as every part of her loosened.

Opening Sentence: In medieval Europe, wolves were feared and looked upon as the scourge of the earth. Excerpt: Here The Review: Ms.
Tabke introduces her heroine, Falon, who is a dynamic and gutsy character. Falon has an uncertain past and a complicated future. Shes an orphan and knows very little about her birth parents. Every day is a struggle for Falon to survive. Rafael, the undisputed alpha of the Vulkasin pack, is on a Slayer hunt.
Rafael decides to save Falon from certain death, healing her from her injuries. As events progress, Rafael ends up marking Falon as his life mate. Unfortunately, this is the beginning of the end for Rafael and Falon.
Falon has very tough choices to make, yet she remains strong under pressure. She shares such a passionate connection with Rafael, and establishes her own identity. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship develop and it added so much depth to an already intriguing story. Rafael is an amazing alpha male.
The pack is all that matters — well, that and Falon. Blood Law satisfies on many levels. The sexual tension is intense and the romance is deeply moving. One of the strongest elements of this story is the mythology. The history between the Lycans and Slayers is riveting and complex. The Lycans have been hunted since medieval times, constantly defending their bloodlines, packs and running from the power of the deformed great wolf, Fenrir.
Peter stopped at nothing to eradicate Lycans in England and Scotland. I loved everything about this world. Overall, Blood Law is an extraordinary story. Tabke succeeds in delivering complex characters and a fresh take on Lycan mythology. Betrayal, treachery and danger abound as loyalties are tested, and the lines between justice and vengeance are blurred.
Notable Scene: Rafael raised both of his swords over his head. He was at the pinnacle tonight. Nothing could hurt him! With the help of his magnificent Berserkers, who were making hash out of anything that got in their way, and the power of the ring, he would lead his pack to victory. Slayers were smart, but he was smarter. Slayers killed because of an eight-hundred-year-old command by a long-dead king.
Lycans killed to survive and to avenge the deaths of their loved ones. Tonight, he would avenge hundreds of slain Lycans, including his own mother and father.
He looked up at the ceiling two stories high to several heavy looped metal chains hanging from a swing arm mounted from a think steel beam. He leapt straight up, grabbing into a think, blunt hook looped over the swing arm.
He shoved the hook up, freeing it. Securing his right foot in the bend of the hook and wrapping the chain around his calf for leverage, Rafael did a free fall. In a wide, forceful swath, he swung down with both swords drawn, hacking at the rush of Slayers. Bullets zinged past him as the Slayers opened fire, several hitting his vest but not penetrating.
As he came in for his first hard hit, he took several Slayers out. As the swing reached its full rotation, he unwound his leg from the chains and leapt onto the bottom of the east ramp that led to the platform, then bounded onto the platform where the girl stood screaming bloody murder. She had to die or she would have killed us all! To get it you destroyed me. Your brother. Your only brother! Regret clawed at Rafe. Not for what he had done but for what he had lost.
BLOOD VOW KARIN TABKE PDF
Great timing too, I was about to camp out on her lawn until she gave in! Let me start off by saying that Blood Vow was one of my most anticipated books of I have been emotionally invested in this series since I read Book 1, Blood Law and only became more obsessed with these characters with Book 2, Bloodright. He is just too hot for his own good. But it was his passion, fierceness and raunchiness in Bloodright that won my heart and loyalty. I went into Blow Vow not really knowing what to expect.
Her gaze swept to Rafael. Its bloody blade protruded just below his neck into the floor. Agony twisted and tugged every fiber of her body. He could not die! She would not allow it!
